Contemporary fine art gallery established 1984, located in Chelsea , New York art galleries district. The public is invited to the gallery art openings receptions. Sponsor of the Chelsea International Fine Art Competition and publisher of ARTisSpectrum magazine. Painters, sculptors and photographers are welcome to submit their portfolios for review.
As a provincially incorporated society and federally registered charity, the FCA is dedicated to the promotion and professional development of Canadian artists through education, exhibition and communication programs. Aiming to gradually raise the artists' standards by stimulating participants to greater heights of achievement, they opened what is believed to be the first completely artist-sponsored gallery-workshop-studio in Canada.
The Campbell River Art Gallery is a young organization with an energized staff and dynamic programs. The Gallery opened in its downtown facility in 1995 and has since grown to offer more than 20 exhibitions annually in a choice of three exhibitions spaces. Our annual visitation is 16,000.
The Campbell River Community Arts Council (CRCAC) is a registered society and a registered charity that works quietly behind the scenes every day to enhance the life of our community. We are involved in countless initiatives to further the arts, and help individual artists at various stages in their working life. We partner with many community organizations, liaise with service groups and various levels of government, and we are also the umbrella group for many local arts and culture organizations, such as the Campbell River Art Gallery, Campbell River and District Museum, Tidemark Theatre, and more.
